Getting Organized In The Kitchen

I’ve been needing to do something about how I store my pots and pans for a long time.  Stacking them on top of each other just adds unnecessary wear and tear on them.  Unfortunately it’s a little late for this set of cookware but in the continued search for my “last” set of cookware I decided now was the time to get organized.

I have to say that the Z Man did an amazing job installing my pot rack and it makes this little section of the kitchen look so warm and cozy, it kind of feels like someone lives here that knows how to cook 😉   Honestly, every time I look at it the little want to be chef comes out in me.

The pictures don’t do it justice, mainly because I stink at taking pictures.

The best thing about it is that I don’t have to clang and bang around in the cabinet to find the pot I need.  It’s right there at my fingertips thanks to the Z Man.  Having an organized kitchen always make cooking more pleasurable.

Now, I just need to find the stainless steel “chef” pans I want, uh, I mean need 😉

Till Next Time,

  1. It helps being organized in the kitchen for the way you move and cook. My current kitchen is not a layout I like, and I’m not a fan of the lazy susan cupboards (I have two). The idea makes sense, but I find stuff falls behind the lazy susan and causes the tray not to want to move around at all, which defeats the design’s purpose.

    1. I had a lazy susan in a different house and didn’t care for it either for the same reason. I have a small kitchen, so utilizing ceiling space for pots and pans was a great idea, it freed up extra cabinet space.
